"Guoco Tower Makes It Possible"
(A Day in the Life of Veronica Rolid)
While some of us dread the 8 to 5 routine, 34-year old employee Veronica Rolid from Norway jumps out of her bed every morning to begin her day. It's not just her job she looks forward to but the workplace she considers home: Guoco Tower.
"Working at Guoco Tower allows me to be efficient as everything is close by," she shares.
How close? Well, she lives 5 minutes away by foot from GT and she has easy access to everything else: groceries, dining places, boutique shops, mother nature, and the MRT Station.
Work life at GT? Awesome!
As a Procure to Pay Specialist, Veronica takes care of the operations and improvements of their company's global procurement system. It's no easy task!
Good thing she has found a perfect caffeine fix at Dimbulah. Her hectic days often come with a cup of Coffee Latte but the best part of her morning is the breathtaking view from her office.
As the clock strikes 12, Veronica heads over to Daily Cut, Guzman y Gomez or Souperstar for lunch. The food here never gets unexciting for Veronica's adventurous palette.
Her all-time favourites? Guzman y Gomez' Nachos with Spicy Chicken and Black Pepper Chicken from Souperstar. She enjoys sharing these favourites with her colleague.
"Lunching out with my friend is a great way to take a breather from work. And the food is a BIG bonus!"
Friday nights get even better as Veronica unwinds at Starkers with a refreshing round of cocktails or beer.
Whether she's dealing with crazy deadlines or not, she makes sure to end her day the way she started it: always on a happy note. Guoco Tower never fails to make it possible.
Favourite Spot at Guoco Tower? Too many!
"There's so many things to love about Guoco Tower but my favourite spot is the public area. There are many happenings around the year. I've attended some of them and they're all memorable!"
This year, Veronica looks forward to new and exciting events at GT. (Yes, she's an avid follower of Guoco Tower on IG!) She shares that she likes to explore new interests while working hard to earn. She's convinced that she has found that one place where she can do both.
Veronica considers Singapore her second home. She's been working in the city for more than a year now and by the looks of her IG posts and stories, she's having the best time of her career life yet.
How about you? Have you found your second home?
